First Breaks in the Rain

After days of mist and rain, we finally got one day of sun on Oct 27. Temperature a pleasant 18 deg C. Not bad for the Yorkshire Dales at the end of October. Colours are generally not as good this year, although there are a few bright spots. The greens are always magnificant at all times of the year. And of course, we always have curious onlookers as we walk the fells with all our camera gear.

On Oct 30 we had a few breaks in the clouds so we were off again in search of that perfect picture. The interesting lighting in these pictures was captured in and around the Barbondale Valley.

Fall Colours in Muskoka

The fall colours in Muskoka were not as consistantly brilliant as in some previous years, however, there were pockets of glorious colour. Here are photos of two artists capturing the beauty of the fall at Oxtongue Rapids plus other photos of the colour and early morning mist near Dwight.

End of the journey.
