Ingleborough Limestone Pavement

Ingleborough is one of the highest hills in Yorkshire at almost 2400 ft and it is only 10 a minute drive from Honeysuckle Cottage. There is an interesting geological feature called a limestone pavement about 2/3 of the way to the top. This pavement provides some fantastic views in the late afternoon sun. At one spot there is a lone tree eeking out an existance in a pretty barren landscape.
