Grasmere

The village of Grasmere plus some frosty white fields in the valley as seen from 450 meters.


Grasmere had a light covering of ice creating some nice visual effects.

Hutton Roof Fog

Hutton Roof is a relatively small hill near Kirkby Lonsdale which provides a view of the surrounding countryside. Today there were beautiful views of fog and mist in the valleys below.

New Years Day

Here is a picture of the Lake District taken from Yorkshire more than 40km away. January 01 was an exceptionally clear day to start the New Year.
