Hutton Roof Fog
Hutton Roof is a relatively small hill near Kirkby Lonsdale which provides a view of the surrounding countryside. Today there were beautiful views of fog and mist in the valleys below.
Saw this post in a bored moment at work, trawling through people's blogs. Had to respond because although I live in New York at the moment, my house and home is in New Hutton, about 10 miles from these photos and it made me homesick and happy at the same time. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Lake District - it's a fabulous place and I look forward to getting back home there again later this year.
